Help shape Danish Crown's global certification landscape

Do you have strong expertise within food safety certifications, quality management systems and regulatory requirements? Would you like to play a key role in securing compliance and market access across an international food company?

We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Regulatory & Trade to join Group Regulatory & Trade and take ownership of Danish Crown's certification landscape across markets and production sites. This is a 12-month maternity cover position commencing when we have the right candidate, offering a unique opportunity to influence certification and compliance activities across Danish Crown's international operations.

Become a part of Group Regulatory & Trade

As Senior Specialist, Regulatory & Trade, you will be responsible for defining, maintaining and developing the certification standards that support Danish Crown's business and customer requirements.

You will work closely with colleagues across FS&Q, Operations, Procurement, Commercial and Export functions, while also engaging with certification bodies, customers and industry organisations. 

Your role

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Owning Danish Crown's certification landscape and related management systems
• Assessing customer and market requirements and determining relevant certification standards
• Monitoring developments in certification standards and driving implementation across the organization
• Developing and maintaining group procedures and policies
• Conducting gap analyses and supporting organisational readiness
• Training stakeholders and facilitating internal specialist networks
• Collaborating with Procurement on selection and management of certification bodies

The role requires approximately 10-15 travel days annually. 

What you bring
You bring solid experience with food safety certification systems, quality management and regulatory compliance from the food industry.

In addition, we imagine that you:

• Hold a degree within Food Science, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Science, Law or similar
• Have experience with certification schemes and food manufacturing environments
• Are analytical, structured and able to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes
• Possess strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
• Thrive in balancing business needs with compliance requirements 

As a person, you are proactive, collaborative and able to build trust across cultures and functions. You work with high integrity and enjoy translating complex requirements into practical business solutions.
