Senior Project Manager, Supply Chain & Projects 

Are you motivated to take supply chain in the food industry to the next level to secure a more sustainable future for food? Would you like to make an impact our new “Feeding the Future” strategy? And do you have a previous experience with driving improvements within the supply chain area combined with efficient stakeholder management skills?


Following our new ‘Feeding the Future’ strategy, Danish Crown is embarking on an organizational transformation. We’ve established a Group Supply Chain & Projects function to support the business units across the group, and we are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the team. The new department has three teams: Strategic Capacity (i.e., Global Footprint), Continuous Improvement and Projects. Our new Senior Project Manager will support all teams, but with an anchoring in Strategic Capacity.


Forward the digitalization of our supply chain, and bring major cross-organizational projects into life

Your main responsibility as our new Senior Project Manager will be to lead critical supply chain projects across the organization and ensure that these are effectively implemented according to Danish Crown standards. The position will give you a holistic insight into our supply chain and into the complexity of the food industry. You will get broad, global network of colleagues, and you will exposed be to leaders and specialists on all levels.


As our new Senior Project Manager, your responsibility is to ensure that strategic projects are carried out according to project and resource plans, time frame and budgets. The key focus area is Strategic Capacity which can entail such diverse projects as supporting the implementation of our Digital Twin to major expansions at production sites.


No matter the project you are involved in, you apply a data-driven approach, and you know how to turn data into actionable conclusions. We place a solid emphasis on the use of technology and want to advance in this area, and if you have experience with simulation, complex data management and data visualization it is a plus. Moreover, you are comfortable with presenting your findings to executive-level management and possess the financial know-how to structure a solid business case.


An estimated amount of 10-20 international travel days should be expected per year.


Qualified Supply Chain experience combined with a Project Management mindset

You hold a relevant education at Bachelor or Master’s level and have a minimum of five years of experience within the area of Supply Chain Management. You have a proven history of driving complex projects from large organizations. Alternatively, you have solid experience within e.g., logistics, supply chain excellence, footprint optimization or general supply chain. Project Management certifications are a plus, but they can also be substituted by practical experience.


Your ability to establish collaborations across projects and influence functional teams throughout the organization are key to achieving goals in this role. You should be able to navigate and thrive in a complex stakeholder landscape. We expect you to be outgoing and able to apply your interpersonal skills to create meaningful networks.


English and Danish proficiency at negotiation level is required. The position can be based out of Randers or Copenhagen. If you are located in Copenhagen, you should expect to travel to Randers one day a week on an average.
