Do you want to drive the implementation of Danish Crown's Agile Product strategy? Are you motivated by creating results that only a handful of potential candidates are able to - and be rewarded for exactly that?

 

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Director for Digital Solutions in Danish Crown's Global IT department at the main office in Randers. You will report to the CIO.

The IT department in Danish Crown has a total of 250 employees, who service 5.600 users on various systems. You will be working in a casual environment built on mutual trust, respect, responsibility, and flexibility. 
 

The position: lead Danish Crown towards agile sprints and product focus
Danish Crown is working towards a more flexible development model, where agile sprints and product focus are the new components.

In your first year, you will be expected to formalize product teams in areas such as Production Controlling, Finance, MES and Sales. You will also be responsible for the Project Team "Business Insights and Analytics" working with AI, advanced model and logarithmic forecasting, planning, optimization, and other complex tasks. 

 

You will be responsible for the following tasks - divided into business-critical areas:

 

Manage the department

  • Build the new department Digital Product Delivery, including define short and long-term achievement goals
  • Be in financial control of all the products, progress results and investments
  • Recruit the right employees internally and externally to form an effective Product Team
  • Develop and coach the employees and other tasks in relation to people management

 

Establish the framework and concept

  • Together with Head of IT PMO & Architecture: Form and describe conditions for running Product Teams
  • Sell the concept to the business
  • Formalize a governance structure around the digital product teams including KPI's

 

Strategy

  • Work closely with other stakeholders in Global IT to develop the strategy initiatives for the area
  • Support the development in the functional area, i.e. new standards, tools and working methods

 

Leadership

  • Be a key member of the Management team in Global IT
  • Define and challenge the strategy in Global IT
     

Your background – great results from vast experience
You have a relevant theoretical background and several years' experience with similar positions and good results to show for it. 

You are competent, analytical, have excellent communication and management skills, and you feel comfortable being a natural and charismatic leader. 

 

Professional qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a technical B2B environment
  • +3 years of director experience is required
  • Very experienced in working with agile development - both establishment but also deep understanding of possibilities and pitfalls in daily operations
  • 5 years' proven leadership experience delivering on large scale projects and programs working with the agile framework
  • Experience from food industry is beneficial but not a requirement
