DNK-Randers, Danish Crown Vej

Student Worker - People & Culture

Do you want to make an impact in a large international company where business is never as usual? Are you currently pursuing a higher education within HR, Organization, Business Communication, Business Administration or similar? Do you find activities ‘from hire to retire’ interesting, and do you want to apply your theoretical knowledge in a real-life context? Then you are maybe our new student worker in Group P&C located at our headquarter in Randers, Denmark.

You’ll become part of the team in Group People & Culture, where you’ll collaborate closely with your 10 colleagues. We are a strategically anchored corporate function that works to ensure the right approach to talented employees within the corporation – and to establish Danish Crown as an attractive workplace across borders.

Within the team, we focus on recruitment, employer branding, the corporation’s graduate program, and onboarding – essentially covering the entire external pipeline. Additionally, we are responsible for employee engagement and well-being measurement, as well as the rollout of our HR IT systems. As our new student worker, you’ll help put our activities on the internal agenda while also representing the corporation’s interests externally.

Work tasks and responsibilities
As our new student worker, you will become experienced within a variety of tasks – from participating in projects to hands-on administrative tasks:
•    Administrative tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
•    Contributing to creating good onboarding experiences for new colleagues
•    Representing Danish Crown at job and education fairs
•    Participating in various development projects within HR
•    Organizing and hosting employee events and activities
•    Other HR-related tasks

Strong communication skills and interest in P&C
You are in the final part of your bachelor’s degree or have just started a relevant master’s degree and are eager to enhance your expertise in the field of HR. Your communication skills are strong, and you have a keen interest in recruitment practices, always keeping the business needs in mind as you tackle your tasks.

We expect you to be familiar with Microsoft Office365 and you communicate fluently in Danish and English - both orally and in writing.

We imagine that you are responsible, proactive, independent, and systematic in your approach to work. We expect you to communicate messages clearly and effectively. And we hope that you will thrive in our informal environment and have a natural interest in people, as well as strong collaboration skills.
Ideally, you have experience from a student job or previous collaborations with companies during your studies.

The working hours can be adjusted to fit your studies, but we expect you to work 15-20 hours per week – of course, with flexibility in relation to class schedules and exams.
