Student Assistant - Strategy and M&A

Danish Crown is a global food company and one of Europe’s largest producers of pork- and beef products. We employ around 23,000 colleagues worldwide and our business spans from transportation of livestock, abat-toirs, fresh meat sales, processed food production (sausage, pizza topping, canned food etc.) to medical ingredients and natural casings. 

We are looking for 2 Student Assistants in our team – One primary for M&A and one primary for the Strategy team.

As a Student Assistant in the Strategy & M&A team at Danish Crown, you will actively contribute to advancing key transformation initiatives. Based at our modern head-quarters in Randers, you will work alongside dedicated professionals, gaining first-hand experience in corporate strategy development and execution as well as assisting on ongoing M&A projects and research. 

The role is located at our Headquarter in Randers and is expected to be 2-3 days a week (15-20 hours) with respect for exam periods etc.

Your Responsibilities:

• Contribute to key strategic projects, supporting market- and business strate-gies and operational improvement initiatives.
• Support the preparation of presentations and material for senior management and executive meetings
• Engage in M&A transactions, market screening, company benchmarking as well as financial modelling and management updates.
• Alignment and visual improvement of PowerPoint presentations
• Collect, structure and analyse business data to generate actionable insights.

Who are you?

You are currently completing the final year of your bachelor's degree or have recently started your master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field.

You are intellectually curious, highly analytical and thrive when solving complex business challenges. You enjoy taking ownership, working independently and deliv-ering high-quality output in a professional environment.

Experience from consulting, strategy, M&A or business development is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is highly analytical and enjoys working with quantitative and qualitative data.
• Can structure complex information into clear recommendations and presenta-tions.
• Has strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint – as well as an interest in AI-tools
• Is organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneous-ly.
• Takes ownership, meets deadlines and follows through on commitments.
• Is eager to learn and motivated by working on real business challenges.
