You step into a Production Domain team who is part of Danish Crowns Global IT department. Production works as a global IT competency centre for factory solutions. In Global IT there work more than 200 colleagues located in Denmark, Poland, Sweden, and Germany, whereas approx. 100 is localised at the HQ in Randers. 

You will become member of a team where you, with 6 competent colleagues, ensure development maintenance, and implementation of projects and solutions for the future of abattoirs in our own developed MES-system. The MES-system is based on .Net, C#, WPF, Git, MS SQL, T-SQL and Stored Procedures.

The team is known for commitment, dedication, and a casual work environment and consists of, apart from developers, architects and consultants who all is involved in creating and executing the projects.

You will work with our MES-platform, which is closely related with automation in the factories and ERP-systems. We have just started a modernisation of our self-developed MES-solutions where we, in the process, work with agile development processes. You get the chance to join our journey where there is lots of opportunities to affect the development. You will thoroughly be introduced to our productions processes and our software platform. 

As developed you will be part of a development team with focus on data gathering, traceability, and production management solutions in dialogue with the business. 

Your tasks will, among others, be:

• Developing MES-systems and integration of production equipment
• Developing production terminals and print functions
• Integrating for third party, for example ERP- and raceability systems
• Developing front- and backend solutions
   

The tasks imply a certain amount of travel activity of shorter duration, typically in connection with analytics and start-up of the project in that actual production site.

You have a relevant IT education, possibly on a Master or Diploma level within engineering or computer science. Maybe you are a newly graduated or maybe you have several years of experience?
