Senior Strategy and M&A Manager

Success starts with a team
You will become a central part of the Strategy and M&A team who acts as experts on various strategic projects as well as Danish Crowns overall future strategy. The team advises, consults, and supports the executive board and the management of the company's business units. 
Your role in the team will include both strategy and project management as well as global M&A projects and internal processes related to M&A transactions, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. 
You will have the opportunity to influence and realize the direction for the company, directly impacting one of Denmark's largest and most significant transformations.

On a daily basis, you will join a result-oriented team who strive to see the opportunities in the challenges we help to solve. You will have a broad interface across the organization and work closely with the executive board and business management teams, especially concerning strategy, project management, and M&A. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Responsibility for M&A activities, including valuation, strategic, financial, and operational analyses, liaising with internal and external actors on specific projects, and integrating completed M&A transactions.
• Conduct analyses and creating impactful presentations for the executive board 
• A central role in developing Danish Crown Group's 2030 Strategy.
• Lead project and change management of strategic and transformative sprints and projects across the company's business units.

Your workplace will be at our headquarters in Randers, but activities at other locations in Denmark as well as 20–30 travel days abroad annually should be expected. 

An analytical and strong sparring partner with M&A experience
Your mindset is strategic and analytical, enabling you to convert complex issues into pragmatic and actionable solutions. Experience from a similar position and/or the consultancy sector is a prerequisite, and you hold a relevant master's degree with strong results. Additionally, you have experience with M&A, strategy processes, and project management, allowing you to independently manage and execute financial and strategic analyses related to M&A transactions. 

You might currently be in a position solely focusing on M&A and wish to expand your areas of responsibility. Furthermore, you speak and write English at a negotiation level.

As a person, you are highly driven, adaptable, and assertive, self-reliant, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You meet others at eye level and are skilled at working and building relationships across companies, functions, and disciplines. You are also a strong sparring partner for decision-makers.
