Senior Sourcing Excellence Manager

You will be a part of a multi-cultural environment in Group Procurement, responsible for the spend in Food & Ingredients, Packaging, Facility & Business Services, Logistic, CapEx, MRO Spare Parts & Services, Utilities & IT, where we are 50 committed and professional co-workers. The Senior Sourcing Excellence Manager position is a part of the Business Development team which consist of 16 people who is located both in our new head office in Randers and in Krakow. You will mainly work from the location in Randers, and you will play a strategically critical role in driving and developing our sourcing agenda in Group Procurement.

 

The team is overall responsible for ensuring a professional global procurement setup, being responsible for Group Procurement Strategy, End-2-End process, Reporting, Governance & Policies, Master Data, Analytic Dashboards and much more.

To be more specific on your responsibility 
You will collaborate close with category teams to promote professional and efficient sourcing processes while ensuring their adherence. You’ll share your expert knowledge and provide guidance to Category Managers during sourcing projects, offering valuable insights and recommendations on sourcing and negotiation approaches, including their usage and design. eAuctions is a key element and you will be the owner of the Jaggaer eProcurement platform.

 

It is key that you can contribute to developing our Sourcing Insights concept where the focus is on creating the foundation and baseline for business opportunity analytics. There’s a need for supplying sourcing colleagues with a wide range of data, insights, and tool & application support to enable opportunity analytics and facilitate efficient sourcing processes. Additionally, the continuous monitoring and tracking regarding implementation and effectiveness of cost-saving initiatives, measuring their impact, and adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

 

Examples of specific tasks:
•    Managing and supporting the execution of sourcing activities, ensuring their smooth and efficient operation
•    Development of standardized templates for frequently sourced products/services
•    Developing and providing guidance on eAuction strategies and design, offering expertise and insights to optimize the outcome of eAuction events
•    Effectively driving the adoption and utilization of eAuction as a sourcing method within the organization, promoting its benefits and demonstrating its value in achieving cost savings, efficiency, and enhanced supplier relationships
•    Continuous development via lessons learned sessions
•    Train users in sourcing moduls i.e. eAuctions. Host large training sessions
•    Lead and define procurement processes and policies relating to eAuctions 
•    Perform spend analytics to identify business opportunities
•    Define KPIs to measure our progress
•    Monitor sourcing events / supplier activity.

 

Who are we looking for?

Whether you have 3 or 7 years of experience in a global procurement setting isn’t that important. It’s important that you have a proven track-record of complex data management and analysis combined with you being excellent at stakeholder management. We would like you to be proactive and have a positive mindset – and at the same time have the eager to perform and deliver excellent results. And it is also important that you understand the end-to-end process of Procurement. It is crucial that you practice English in writing and speaking at negotiation level and have good IT-skills within Excel, Power Point, Power BI and Azure.
