Senior Manager Public Affairs & Communications

Your primary external stakeholders are politicians and lawmakers, industry organisations, NGOs, ministry officials and key opinion leaders, while your internal stakeholders include our Executive Management team, Group Sustainability, Danish Crown Brand team, Owner Service, Group Strategy and Commercial.  

Core responsibilities:
•    Develop, support and execute Danish Crown’s public affairs strategy
•    Drive, scope, and lead sustainability initiatives from a communication perspective
•    Drive day-to-day public affairs agenda towards relevant key stakeholders 
•    Advice top management and provide message papers to prepare top management for speaker roles, interviews and meetings with key stakeholders
•    Available spokesperson and thought-leader voice for Danish Crown at meetings, on SoMe, conferences, official site visits etc.

Do you have what it takes? 
The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in political science, communication or a related field and extensive professional experience.

This includes:
•    Exceptional stakeholder management & communication skills at an executive level and the ability to build a robust network within and outside an organization
•    Experience working in a corporate company or multi-stakeholder organization with deep functional expertise in the public affairs area
•    Demonstrate results in good political understanding nationally and internationally
•    Ability to simplify complexity and communicate effectively

A 'can-do' attitude ensures proactive action in a fast-paced environment. Be an ambassador who motivates and inspires your colleagues, stakeholders, and Danish Crown. We are looking for a colleague who can detect and analyze problems from different angles, but who has a solution-oriented and constructive mindset when working with complex challenges. Additionally, you should be able to balance the needs and requests of your different internal and external stakeholders. Lastly, it would help if you communicate effortlessly in both Danish and English.

This role operates with a dotted line to our Senior Director of Public Affairs & International Relations, Frederik Greibe, with a solid reporting line to VP Group Communication Theis Brøgger.
For the right candidate, the role holds significant opportunities for development, which can result in larger and more cross-functional tasks and projects within Group Communication as well as in the Danish Crown organization.
