We are on a transformation journey and are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive logistics improvement projects and create value in close collaboration with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders across our 8 business units. Danish Crown Procurement & Logistics is a recently combined department where you will find skilled colleagues in both Procurement and Logistics all working across Danish Crown Group. You will join the Group Logistics team, where skilled and committed colleagues will help bring you onboard. Your key responsibilities are:

  • Leading logistics improvement projects while contributing to value creation and optimization across our logistics operations.
  • Scoping and preparing logistics improvement projects
  • Building project plans and securing project delivery according to defined success criteria
  • Collecting and evaluating data, facts, and inputs to form a solid baseline
  • Leading and motivating project members
  • Engaging stakeholders to grow commitment and buy-in to the future solution
  • Contributing to identifying potentials and further developing the logistics strategy
  • Balancing time, quality, resources, and impact to succeed with projects
  • Preparing and conducting steering committee meetings to secure proper decision-making and buy-in from senior stakeholders

 

You take ownership of your projects
In this position, we are searching for a self-driven Project Manager who can lead logistics improvement projects to deliver value creation by leveraging scale and synergies across our 8 business units. With steady hands, you will take the lead and be responsible for your projects from business case development, and project planning to final implementation of changes. You have a structured approach to executing projects and engaging internal stakeholders to ensure engagement and commitment on the solutions and changes. 
Your ability to establish collaboration both inside and around your projects and to influence functional teams throughout the organisation is key for success in this role. Therefore, it is important that you are able to navigate and thrive in a complex stakeholder landscape, and that you apply your interpersonal skills to create meaningful relationships across the group.

 

The ideal candidate would have
A relevant B.Sc or M.Sc degree within supply chain or logistics, possess expert knowledge within logistics or supply chain optimization, and having education or training within lean or six sigma will be an advantage. Ideally you have a minimum of 6-8 years of experience within supply chain and logistics with a proven track record of driving business optimizations of logistics processes or supply chain setups. Experience in navigating complex global organizations and with change management experience is an advantage.
