Network Specialist

Can you see yourself working with a global network where the approach is to do things yourself? Then you might be the new Network Specialist we are looking for in our IT organization!

Ensure the development and operation of network infrastructure.

You will be part of a well-functioning team of seven people, who together are responsible for the daily operation and further development of the entire organization's network infrastructure. You will have a exiting everyday life in a busy organization with great and skilled colleagues at all levels.

In close collaboration with the team, you will aim for continuous development and operate the network in our global network setup—both globally at our locations and in our data centers. Your primary focus will be to ensure stable operations and take responsibility for incident and problem handling meeting our quality requirements. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in the planning and implementation of a wide range of advanced network technologies such as wireless (primarily Aruba), routing/switching (primarily Cisco products), firewall/security (primarily Fortigate), and SD-WAN.

Your primary tasks will be:

• Monitoring and operation of our global network
• Handling incidents and problems
• Continuous documentation of network infrastructure with a focus on quality
• Planning and implementation of improvements to the network infrastructure
• Participation in infrastructure projects
• ... and much more

Your primary workplace will be at our headquarters in Randers, but there will be periods where flexibility and visits to our global sites are needed.

Improvement-oriented Network Specialist with a problem-solving focus

We imagine that you have a relevant IT technical background or have acquired your professional skills in other ways. You have a few years of experience and we expect you to possess solid knowledge of networks while having experience with both design and daily operation of complex networks, where high IT security, operational stability, and automation are your focus.

You approach your tasks with curiosity asking "why" when needed with the intention of ensuring a safe and secure network for Danish Crown.

You have a high degree of integrity while quickly getting to grips with unknown or new technologies. Furthermore, you thrive in a role where you are close to the business and in close dialogue with both your internal and external customers—technical as well as non-technical.

You are proficient in Danish and English at a negotiation level in both writing and speaking.
