Logistics Data Lead

At Danish Crown, we are transforming Logistics to become more digital, scalable, and data-driven. As part of our Logistics digitalization journey, we are building the foundation for standardized processes and future-ready solutions across the group. We are now looking for a Logistics Data Lead to take on a pivotal role in this transformation.

Success starts with a team
Danish Crown Logistics Excellence is a relative new team bringing together skilled colleagues all working on developing our Logistics setup across Danish Crown group.

Working closely with the global Master Data organisation, IT, Digitalization Lead, and Business Units, you will play a central role in connecting business, data, and technology.

Your mission: Build the backbone of Logistics data
In this role, you will go beyond data governance – you will help define how Logistics operates through data.

You will own the Logistics data domain, shaping how data is structured, governed, and used across the organisation. Our starting point is fragmented, so your focus will be to establish a strong and scalable foundation that enables digital solutions, better decisions, and future growth.

You will design and implement a Logistics Master Data governance model, defining data structures, standards, ownership, and principles – and ensuring clear accountability across Logistics, IT, and Business Units.

Key parts of the role include:

• Translating business needs into structured data requirements for systems and analytics
• Building a robust, future-proof data foundation enabling scalable solutions
• Driving data quality, transparency, and clear governance processes

You will also play a key role in aligning stakeholders and driving adoption by:

• Bringing teams together around a shared data agenda
• Ensuring governance principles are embedded in ways of working
• Acting as the link between global Master Data, business functions, and digital initiatives

The ideal candidate would have
You bring a solid foundation within logistics and data, combined with experience from working in complex, cross-functional environments where data plays a critical role in enabling business performance.

Specifically, you have:

• A relevant degree within Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Data, Engineering, or a similar field
• Around 5+ years of experience working with and structuring Logistics or Supply Chain data, for example as a Data Lead, Data Owner, or in a similar role
• Experience with Master Data or data governance in SAP data structures (ECC/S4), ideally from a transformation or change-driven environment
• A strong understanding of how data supports end-to-end logistics processes and systems

Beyond your experience, you bring the mindset and capabilities needed to succeed in a role where you will define structure and drive change across the organisation. 

You:

• Excel at structuring complexity and turning business needs into clear data models and requirements
• Are a strong communicator who can engage and influence stakeholders across functions and levels
• Are persistent and able to drive adoption of new standards and ways of working
• Thrive in a role with high impact, visibility, and cross-functional collaboration
• Communicate fluently in English; Danish is an advantage

Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) will be an advantage
