Junior Legal Counsel 

Are you a legal professional eager to grow in an international environment? At Danish Crown, we’re looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to join our Group Legal team at our headquarters in Randers. Reporting to the VP, Group General Counsel, you’ll be part of a collaborative team supporting our strategic and operational agenda.

As Junior Legal Counsel, you’ll play a vital role in handling corporate, commercial, and compliance matters. You’ll provide legal advice, assist senior team members, and help optimize legal processes across our global organization. Expect a varied and dynamic role where your insights will contribute to meaningful change.
You will join a team of 5 highly skilled and dedicated colleagues within Group Legal. In the team, we are supporting Danish Crown’s strategic and operational agenda, and you will get an important supportive role within the team. This means that you in this role can have a seat at the table and make an impact in a large international organization.

Your key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate international commercial contracts.
• Manage and maintain corporate legal databases, ensuring compliance and training internal users.
• Support corporate governance processes, including leadership transitions across Danish Crown.
• Handle contract signing and notarization procedures.
• Assist with Group Legal’s compliance programs and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain legal templates to enhance operational efficiency.

We also would like for you to: 

• Hold a master’s degree in law or business law with 1-3 years of experience, preferably from a law firm or in-house legal department or alternatively, a graduate with relevant internship or student job experience.
• Be analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in new legal areas.
• Have a business-oriented mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted working relationships across departments.
