IT Procurement Category Manager - shape digital sourcing at Danish Crown

You take ownership of your own category
As the IT Procurement Category Manager, you take ownership of your own category. Your responsibility covers all Danish Crown business units primarily located in Denmark, UK, Germany, Sweden, and Poland.
To succeed in the role, it is important that you possess a strategic mindset and have a solid strategic procurement toolbox.

You will operate at the intersection of IT and Procurement
As our new IT Procurement Category Manager, you will lead sourcing activities within IT-related categories across the Danish Crown group. A key part of your everyday work will be close collaboration with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and procurement strategy.

For example, you will:

• Lead procurement processes related to IT Hardware, Software and Services, aligned with Danish Crown IT Strategy
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across functions and countries
• Lead contract negotiations and supplier agreements, in close collaboration with business stakeholders
• Improve sourcing strategies and processes
• Manage complex IT contracts, including Supplier performance
• Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Experienced colleagues and space to grow
From our HQ in Randers, you will join our Indirect Procurement team of 8 experienced colleagues, working closely together in a shared office space. The team is part of our broader procurement organisation with 50 colleagues globally – including 10 in Poland – and you will collaborate across teams and locations.

We also imagine that you:

• Hold a relevant qualification in business, procurement or a related field
• Have a proven track record in procurement and category management
• Have an interest in IT and digital procurement
• Enjoy collaborating and driving projects forward
• Have strong analytical, negotiation, and contract management skills.
• Are comfortable working with Excel, digital tools and Procurement models
• Speak and write English effortlessly
