Global Process Owner, Benefits & Rewards

Area of Responsibility
We are seeking an experienced and forward thinking Global Process Owner (GPO) for Reward & Benefits to build and drive the strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of our global reward frameworks and benefit processes. In this critical role, you will ensure that our compensation and benefits practices are competitive, compliant, scalable, and aligned with our global People & Culture strategy.
In the newly established role as Global Process Owner at Danish Crown, you will be part of the global People & Culture organization, acting as the single point of accountability for defining global reward processes, harmonizing standards across markets, and ensuring we deliver a consistent and high quality data and employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
Working closely with the head of Global Rewards, you will be part of a team of Global Process Owners where you will build strong partnerships with colleagues across regional P&C Operations, IT, P&C Shared Services, the Global Solution Adoption team and senior business stakeholders.
More specifically, you will:
- Serve as the global owner for Reward & Benefits processes, ensuring cross functional end-to-end process alignment for compensation, benefits, job architecture and reward cycles according to the Total Rewards direction.
- Establish and lead the community for process governance, controls and decision-making principles.
- Partner with Senior Leadership, HR Business Partners, P&C Operations, Finance and Legal functions to influence and align on the total reward direction for Danish Crown.
- Lead process design in global improvement initiatives and transformation projects that focus on simplification, automation and digitalization to optimize efficiency, clarity and quality.
- Define system requirements in collaboration with HR IT Teams (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors).
- Drive data integrity, data availability and reporting standards for Reward & Benefit processes.
- Support user acceptance testing and change impact assessments for technology releases.
- Define and maintain global KPIs and dashboards to measure process compliance, performance and employee experience outcomes.
- Monitor process performance, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports and insights for leadership, recommending strategic actions.
- Ensure maintenance and regular updates of global process documentation, including process maps and work instructions.
Who Are You?
You have a proven track record of working with Reward, Compensation and Benefits processes and concepts in a global context.
Communication and stakeholder engagement come naturally to you and with a strong change management approach and Agile mindset, you can:
- Drive standardization of highly fragmented reward processes based on thorough analysis, planning and change management.
- Present key value drivers for business cases and optimizations based on the main findings from stakeholders.
- Define and implement global process standards, policies, and KPIs to ensure consistency across all regions.
- Collaborate with local HR functions, Shared Service Center, and the wider HR and IT community to align processes with business needs.
- Identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and standardization using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
You Have:
- 5+ years of experience in Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, HR Transformation, or related fields.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills combined with the ability to drive for standardizations in a complex setting.
- An analytical, creative and solution-oriented mindset, with strong attention to detail and openness to innovation and synergies.
- Ability to balance global standards with local business and regulatory requirements.
- Experience from managing and leading IT and change/improvement projects.
- Flair for logical thinking and finding synergies across processes.
The position can be operated by our Headquarters in Randers or our local offices in Copenhagen (located near Tivoli) or Krakow, Poland.
