Finance Project Management Support (1 year limited contract) 

Are you a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in finance transformation within a global company?

At Danish Crown, we are looking for a Finance Project Management Support (Junior) to join our Group Finance function on a 1-year fixed-term contract. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a major transformation journey shaping the future of Finance.

 

What can you expect?

You will become part of our Finance Project Management team, supporting the implementation of our new Finance Target Operating Model (TOM). In this role, you will work closely with experienced project managers and stakeholders across the organisation, contributing to a structured and successful transformation. Your work will ensure that activities are coordinated efficiently, progress is tracked, and communication is clear across the business.

 

Your key responsibilities

Transition & Operating Model Support:

  • Support the transition from current Finance processes to the new Target Operating Model
  • Assist in maintaining transition plans, timelines, and trackers
  • Contribute to readiness activities, including risk identification and mitigation
  • Track progress, actions, and risks

 

Process, Scope & Coordination

  • Support validation of process scope, volumes, and handover requirements
  • Help document “as-is” and “to-be” processes and workflows
  • Coordinate inputs across Finance domains and transformation workstreams
  • Maintain project documentation and governance materials

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Support communication with Group Finance and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Prepare presentations, status updates, and reporting materials
  • Help ensure clarity on roles, responsibilities, and timelines

 

Who are we looking for?

You are motivated, structured, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.

You most likely have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or similar. Experience from internships, student jobs, consulting, finance, legal, or PMO is an advantage.

You bring strong organisational and coordination skills and work in a structured and detail-oriented manner, ensuring tasks are followed through effectively. You communicate clearly and collaborate well with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation. You have a genuine interest in business processes, governance, and transformation, and ideally you have a basic understanding of Finance processes such as Record-to-Report or Procure-to-Pay. In addition, you are analytical in your approach and able to turn insights into well-structured actions.
