Finance Manager, Performance Management

As part of our strategy, our Finance department strongly supports our organization across countries and Business Units. Our small and diverse Performance Management team provides valuable and fact-based insights to enable effective business and strategy decision-making, supporting our ambitious agenda. Therefore, we are seeking a Finance Manager capable of best-in-class partnering for our Business Units, such as Danish Crown Business Unit, Danish Crown Beef, KLS, Sokolow, DAT-Schaub, and ESS-Food, while also managing the group's CAPEX infrastructure, including processes, governance, and reporting. You will be reporting directly to the VP of Performance Management.
 
Take a seat at the table and provide financial insights to support strategic decision making 
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong business understanding, with a focus on investments and key processes related to them. Your main responsibility will be to take ownership of and develop our CAPEX process.

Core responsibilities:
•    Ensure efficient resource allocation across Group
•    CAPEX Group Process Owner e.g., standardisation and development of the CAPEX Process 
•    Define and implement Group CAPEX KPI structure 
•    Define and implement relevant CAPEX tools, reporting and follow-up structure 
•    Head up and facilitate the CAPEX Community
•    Ensure governance concerning bigger projects subject to CAPEX Committee approval (CEO/CFO) incl. business case follow-up. 
 
Finance experience and excellent stakeholder management skills 
We are seeking a Finance Manager characterized by having a strong drive and not afraid of voicing your opinion, which is essential for transforming and improving the CAPEX agenda and achieving ambitious goals. With effective communication skills, you can generate commitment and value-creation in collaboration with all stakeholders, including your Finance colleagues. You appreciate the importance of collaboration, recognizing that outstanding teamwork is key to success.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

•    You hold a master’s degree within economics, finance or a related field
•    You bring extensive experience within CAPEX and strong analytical skills from a similar role 
•    Preferably 5-7 years of relevant process and finance experience (controlling, auditing, consultancy, performance mgmt. or similar)
•    You are proficient in both Danish and English, with negotiation-level competency
•    You have experience with business intelligence reporting and creation of presentation materials using MS power point
•    You are curious about the business side of things and have the personal drive and energy needed to take on a manager role with broad responsibility, not afraid of challenging the status quo
•    Strong interpersonal skills as stakeholder management at senior level is a requirement.
