Direct Tax Manager 

This is your opportunity to join an international group on an exciting transformation journey and play a key role in shaping the tax agenda at operational level.

 

We are looking for a Direct Tax Manager to join our Global Tax team. You will report directly to the Head of Global Tax and become part of a highly skilled team of colleagues covering Direct Tax, Transfer Pricing and Indirect Tax.

 

You are most likely a technically strong tax professional with a hands on approach. You will have a broad operational responsibility with a strong focus on Danish corporate income tax within a joint taxation group, Direct Tax across the group and an interest in tax digitalisation.

 

Your role and responsibilities
As Tax Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Global Tax, other team members and internal stakeholders across finance and the business. Your main responsibilities will include:

 

  • Responsibility for Danish corporate income tax compliance, including joint taxation (sambeskatning)
  • Preparation and review of tax calculations and tax returns
  • Participation in dialogue with tax authorities, including audits and enquiries
  • Monitoring tax legislation and assessing impacts on the group
  • Contributing to process optimisation, automation, digitalisation and development of tax governance
  • Acting as a sparring partner to finance functions and other stakeholders in the organisation
  • Contribution to transfer pricing compliance and documentation
  • Contribution to Pillar Two compliance

 

The role combines technical depth with practical execution, and you will have significant exposure to both national and international tax matters.

We are looking for a strong tax professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.

 

You likely have:

 

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree within Tax, Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Solid experience with Danish corporate income tax, including joint taxation
  • Experience with tax reconciliations, including reconciliation between tax calculations, tax reporting and financial accounts
  • Knowledge of cooperative taxation (andelsbeskatning) is considered an advantage
  • Experience working with multinational organisations and shared service centers is considered an advantage
  • A structured and analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently while being a strong team player
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly
  • Fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken).
