Data Governance Specialist, Maternity Cover 

Are you passionate about driving high data quality and governance to support business success? We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist for a maternity leave cover to help strengthen how we manage and use our Customer and Product Master Data at Danish Crown.

In this exciting role, you will step into a key position, ensuring that our data standards continue to support our business strategy and that our Customer and Product Master Data remains structured, accurate, and aligned across the organization.

Success starts with a team

You will become part of a committed team working across our Business Units to create value through structured and standardized master data. Together with colleagues in governance councils and master data networks, you will help ensure alignment, improvements, and best practices across Danish Crown.
You will collaborate closely with both IT and business stakeholders, serving as the link that ensures governance initiatives are implemented operationally. We value a strong team spirit, continuous learning, and a collaborative approach.

Your Key Responsibilities
•    Support the development of functional data standards and definitions aligned with our business strategy.
•    Participate in Customer Master reference groups and Master Data Councils to drive governance and standardization.
•    Lead data cleanse activities and ensure ownership of critical Customer and Product Master Data assets within DC BU.
•    Validate new requests for updates (e.g., new sales groups) and manage communication with IT.
•    Raise and support new functional requirements for data standards and improvements.
•    Act as Subject Matter Expert within Customer and Product Master Data processes in DC BU.
•    Maintain insight into relevant IT solutions (non-technical) and help create user-friendly manuals and guidelines.
•    Support with ad-hoc tasks for both Microsoft CRM, SAP ECC and ad-hoc analysis. 

The role is based at our headquarters in Randers, and limited travel is expected. The position is a fixed-term contract and is expected to expire summer 2026. 

About You
You are structured, proactive, and have a strong sense of ownership for data quality and governance. You collaborate naturally across business and IT and enjoy working in a role where detail orientation, structure, and improvement mindset are key to success.

In addition, you bring:
•    A good understanding of SAP ECC and how master data structures support business processes.
•    Experience working with master data governance, preferably within Customer and Product domains.
•    The ability to navigate between operational tasks and strategic improvements.
•    Strong communication skills and the ability to train and support colleagues across functions.
•    A continuous drive for improving data quality, standards, and processes.
