Controller, Group Finance

Your contributions will be central to the evolution of Danish Crown's financial landscape, as our Finance Transformation initiative focuses on enhancing transparency, achieving standardisation, and implementing automation.

Explore a variety of professional opportunities. As part of Group Finance in Danish Crown, your role will involve a broad spectrum of activities related to the compilation, analysis, and distribution of financial reports, as well as supervising financial practices within our organisation.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Contribute to external reporting – especially the Danish Crown Group annual report and other Danish annual reports.
• Prepare management reports – including monthly financials, forecasts, budgets – partnering with business units. 
• Controlling of subsidiaries across the Danish Crown Group (expect around 20-25 travel days annually). 
• Assisting in setting up ESG reporting, ensuring integration into our annual report. 
• Contribute to group-wide projects, such as refining internal reporting standards and guidelines and aligning processes across Danish Crown Group.
• Own and enhance our SAP BPC consolidation tool

In this role, you will work across borders, functions, and business units, gaining experience in an international setting. Supporting the Group Executive Management and the Board of Directors will provide you with strategic insights and require collaboration with other functions for a broad perspective.

Beyond the numbers, you will also tackle various accounting challenges – from implementing new accounting standards to integrating new acquisitions and more.

You will gain hands-on experience with advanced financial tools and systems, enhancing your technical skills and expertise. Working closely with various departments and international subsidiaries will broaden your perspective and improve your ability to navigate complex business environments.

What It Takes to Thrive Here

• We are seeking an experienced team member with strong analytical skills.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in an audit firm or a similar financial controlling role.
• An educational background in Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration and Auditing or Management Accounting and Control, Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Financial and Management Accounting), or equivalent.
• Work with ease in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs. 
• Skilled at communicating your area of expertise to stakeholders both in Danish and in English. 
• A quality-conscious approach and a commitment to collaboration in an exciting work environment. 
• Experience with consolidation is a positive factor.
