DNK-Randers, Tulipvej

Compliance & Reporting Specialist, Sustainable Packaging

Are you data driven and eager to build great relationships with both internal and external stakeholders? And do you want to make a real impact in a large international company where it is never business as usual? Then you might be the new colleague we are looking for in Group Procurement, located at our headquarters in Randers.

Success starts with a team
You will step into our Group Procurement department, where we are 65 committed and skilled colleagues, located in different locations in Europe, but primarily in Denmark. In Group Procurement we are responsible for optimizing all non-meat spend across Danish Crown.

Specifically, you will be a part of our great packaging team where you’ll get 10 skilled and committed colleagues who look forward to welcoming you. In our team a good work environment and professional sparring is important, but where there is also room for fun. You’ll get a job where personal and professional development is paramount in an exciting and changing company.

Get an important role in collecting and structuring sustainability data for packaging
In this role your main responsibility is to work on improvements, new structures and optimization initiatives related to data, reporting, EPR, customer requirements or other data compliance within sustainable packaging. You are responsible for securing good stakeholder interaction and timely deliverables on data and reporting on sustainable packaging. Moreover, you will be co-owner of the sustainable packaging data collection needed to be compliant with the upcoming EPR (EU) regulation and its related reporting practices internally as well as externally. You will contribute to build our sustainable packaging baseline as well as additional data points related to sustainable packaging.

Within your area of responsibilities, you will get a wide range of tasks, where your key tasks will be to:

  • enable our organisation to fulfil current and upcoming EPR demands as well as customer reporting requests through EPR data collection, compliance, reporting, and best practice sharing
  • integrate the sustainable packaging baseline and related sustainable packaging data into our master data, so that the baseline is automatically updated
  • develop and train stakeholders on the data collection process, data quality improvements and timely reporting practices within sustainable packaging
  • develop structures and processes on Group and Business Unit level to reach our compliance and annual/biannual reporting goals
  • deliver on day-to-day customer demands together with the sustainable packaging team.

You will have a wide range of internal and external stakeholders as this is a group level position, and you will support our business units internationally and suppliers located all over the world.

Data driven with great stakeholder management skills

You hold a relevant education at B.Sc or M.Sc level for example within business administration, BI or accounting, and have a couple of years of experience from a large company working with data, reporting and a complex stakeholder landscape. You understand the end-to-end process of data entry point creation, the data collection process and reporting needs so that you are able to give meaning to data, process steps and reporting practices both internally and externally. Maybe you have worked with BI or development of other reporting systems or tools. You are skilled in PowerPoint and Excel, and master English in writing and speaking at negotiation level.

You work in a structured way, so that you are able to keep an overview of both data and the different projects while you create structured processes where they do not exist yet. The key to achieve your goals in this role is to secure good stakeholder interaction and timely deliverables on data and reporting on sustainable packaging. Therefore, it is important that you possess solid stakeholder management skills, and it comes natural for you to build and maintain good relations on all levels of the organisation. You are a self-starter with a positive mindset, and you have an urge to keep learning. In return, we offer you a steep learning curve with a lot of responsibility in a large international company where no two days are alike.
