Commercial Product and Marketing Specialist, Danish Crown Professional

As our new Commercial Product and Marketing Specialist, you will become a part of Danish Crown Professional, operating in the Danish foodservice market. We deliver products through wholesale partnerships and chains such as cafeterias, restaurants, healthcare facilities, production kitchens, institutions, grill bars, and more. We are a newly established department called "Business Development & Execution," and our ambition is to lead the industry with marketing initiatives, including concept development, sustainability agenda, and value creation for our products. Your crucial role comes into play as we strive to provide our customers with innovative products and concepts that seamlessly align with current trends.

Take the lead and drive marketing initiatives that creates growth 
As our new Commercial Product and Marketing Specialist, you will have the overall responsibility to drive marketing strategies for Danish Crown Professional in Denmark. More specifically, you will create annual marketing plans, business plans including new opportunities and initiatives, product launches with growth potential in collaboration with the sales and global foodservice marketing department. It will also be your task to improve our digital marketing efforts. 


Furthermore, your tasks will be;
-    Coordinate and communicate product launches and sustainability projects
-    Plan and execute marketing activities in collaboration with the sales department
-    Website and content management 
-    Email and SoMe campaign management 
-    Coordinate internal and external fairs within foodservice sector
-    Establishing KPIs, tracking and analysing performance 
-    Transforming insights into concrete action plans 


“Can-do” project management skills combined with stakeholder management expertise
We envision that you have a commercial education, such as a master's degree in marketing, communication, ecommerce or a similar field, combined with 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or you might currently hold a position as a Product/Brand Manager or Marketing Coordinator and have ambitions for a career in the foodservice industry. Commitment to thrive in the professional market and grasp the challenges inherent in the foodservice industry is crucial. 

In addition, it is important that you:
•    Are business oriented 
•    Are creative but with a commercial understanding
•    Have project management experience (as you will need to execute marketing strategies)
•    Possesses persuasive communication and presentation skills (can present your marketing initiatives in an engaging and motivating manner).


You have a strong drive to make things happen and ensure the success of new product solutions. Your communication skills and business understanding enable you to build and maintain relationships with your stakeholders, even in the face of resistance. Moreover, you thrive in a position where you need to build new processes and develop concepts for campaigns that have not been tried before. You can see new opportunities and know how to make them a reality. 
Furthermore, you thrive in a dynamic organization where circumstances can change from one day to the next. You have a proactive approach to solving tasks, enabling you to take independent initiatives and decisions. You are proficient in both written and spoken Danish and English and have a flair for IT, with proficiency in MS Office, including Excel.
