Category & Brand Manager
Are you our new team member, with a desire to be part of a global team in one of Denmark's largest FMCG companies, where you will have an exciting opportunity to work with one of our biggest categories.
At Danish Crown, we believe that results are created by talented and dedicated people and we have an exciting opening where you will be responsible for securing strong growth and profitability within our Canned meat category across key Asian markets.
Based at our head office in Randers you will be part of Global Categories, Marketing and Innovation in Danish Crown Foods, which drives the global strategy and execution across a number of categories. More specifically, you will be part of our category team consisting of seven dedicated colleagues, working across category, brand and product management in 3 global categories.
Key responsibilities:
As our new Category & Brand Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a strong and profitable Canned Meat category performance within your market portfolio. You will develop and align strong annual business plans in cooperation with sales, production and product management. You will also drive the development of brand assets and execution locally in your markets. Your main tasks will include:
Category strategy and development
- Identify key category drivers across own markets though category, consumer and customer insights
- Define role of brand(s) and PL to deliver against category drivers
- Identify business development opportunities across existing markets and build plans to deliver against those together with sales
Innovation and assortment
- Ensure a competitive line up based on global assortment with local add ons
- Develop size and format strategy
- Input to global innovation pipeline and initiates LX projects for own markets based on category drivers, consumer insights and customer understanding
- First point of contact for new brand, new channel assortment, strategic PL
Brand Activation
- Build annual activity plans and ensures buy in and follow up with key distributors
- Develop brand activation assets and ensures local adaption and execution
- Lead selected Global brand activities and asset developments
Other
- Support sales with category presentations and persuasive plans for growing the category in size and/or profit
- Support supply chain in planning process including input to S&OP process and support for capacity expansion projects
We are looking for someone with:
- A master degree within marketing, business or equivalent
- 2-3 years of business experience, preferably in food related FMCG category or brand management
- Experience and proven record working in a complex organization
