CAPEX Business Partner

We are looking for a CAPEX Business Partner who can act as trusted financial advisor to our Engineering and Technical Production teams across in Denmark and Northern Europe. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our CAPEX planning processes together with our Project Manager, ensuring robust financial governance, and rolling out standardized financial solutions and support long-term strategic investment decisions.

A central role with high impact
You will become part of our CAPEX team anchored in Business Support Finance at Danish Crown’s headquarters in Randers – a small, dedicated team focused on capital expenditure and fixed assets. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across the Group from Engineering Department and Supply chain to Group Finance and IT, acting as the single point of contact for all CAPEX-related topics.

Together with your colleague, you’ll support everything from strategic financial planning to day-to-day technical questions related to investments and asset management.

A core part of your role will be to ensure high data quality and transparency throughout the entire CAPEX process in collaboration with our engineering department – from budgeting and forecasting to execution and performance tracking. You will partner proactively to improve and bridge our data foundation in SAP with system driven project tools, Business Warehouse reporting, and dashboards, ensuring that decision-makers have access to accurate, timely, and user-friendly reporting. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Act as a trusted business partner to Engineering and Supply Chain
• Support CAPEX planning and ensure financial transparency
• Provide accurate decision support and follow up on business cases
• Ensure forecasting accuracy and track performance against CAPEX budgets
• Maintain and further develop financial data
• Perform monthly compliance controls and ensure data quality in SAP
• Act as a Fixed Asset Expert, bridging Finance and Engineering
• Contribute to training and knowledge sharing on financial processes and systems
• Collaborate with Group Finance and IT to improve the data foundation in SAP, BW, and dashboards

What we're looking for
We imagine that you have a background in Finance, Engineering, or a related field, and bring experience within CAPEX planning, project finance, controlling, or similar roles – ideally in a production or supply chain setting.

You should also bring:

• Understanding of SAP (ERP, Fixed Assets, BW)
• Understanding of Power BI or similar dashboard tools
• Can understand and clarify the connection between CAPEX, leasing, and overall financial performance 
• Structured problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly and influence non-financial stakeholders
• A proactive, self-driven approach and a passion for process improvement
• You are fluent in English and able to communicate in Danish, both in written and verbally, as you will have Danish speaking stakeholders at our factories.
