Do you want to drive the implementation of Danish Crown’s new IT strategy that will have a significant impact on future business areas? Are you one of the few candidates who has the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role?
 

Danish Crown aims to ensure continuous high quality in the IT Department with a new significant digitization investment. We are looking for an experienced and competent PMO Director who will report directly to the SVP of the Global IT Department, which has a total of 250 employees who service 5.600 users on various systems.

The position – leading dedicated IT Project Managers
You will be playing an important part in executing the overall IT strategy by securing successful implementation of strategic projects. The projects are in both administrative IT as SAP and Cloud Solutions, but also in connection to factory IT such as implementation of MES solutions.

 

You will be leading a team of 15 highly competent IT Project Managers. You will be able to use your full palate of management skills to help yourself and your new colleagues be successful.

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure business projects are executed effectively and efficiently
  • Establish efficient reporting to the IT management
  • Scope and business case management
  • Enforce standard tools and methods and continue to develop them
  • Drive and continuously strengthen stakeholder engagement across the business 
  • Secure strong line ownership 
  • Responsible for the enterprise architect including plans and implementation 

 

Your specific tasks and deliverables will be: 

  • Ongoing development and coaching of Danish Crown’s project managers
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure effective and efficient delivery of projects/change initiatives 
  • Oversee projects, programs on governance, resourcing, risk management, and master planning
  • Manage an external portfolio of project managers to be used in time with constraints in the internal work capacity

 
Your background – proven leadership success
You have a relevant theoretical background and several years’ experience with similar positions and good results to show for it. Most importantly, you have a track record of extraordinary leadership. 

 

You are competent, analytical, have excellent communication and management skills, and you feel comfortable being a natural, influential, and charismatic leader. 

 

Professional qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years’ Project Management experience in a technical B2B environment
  • 3-5 years of PMO or equivalent experience is required
  • 5 years’ proven leadership experience overseeing large scale technical projects.
  • Experience from food industry is beneficial but not a requirement
  • Hold relevant project management certifications
