Business Controller, Financial Planning & Analysis

You will become part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at Danish Crown Commercial Finance, where we aim at becoming a key contributor to our Finance Transformation journey by developing our processes to facilitate an efficient allocation of resources to the right priorities and driving performance in the direction set by the company strategy, while becoming trusted advisors and partners in the business for identifying the reasons behind plan-to-actual variances and support course adjustments.


Today the team consists of eight employees who are responsible for management performance reporting and for key business processes such as annual budget and quarterly forecasts. We support the business by translating figures into valuable insights and facilitating data-based decision making. While driving our strategic projects, we are also extremely focused on creating a great workplace, where we take pride in developing our finance colleagues and ensuring great career opportunities within the global Danish Crown Finance community and across the entire company.   


Support financial planning processes and add transparency through insightful reporting
Your main responsibility will be to support our financial planning processes and to help create transparency through reporting. You will participate in the preparation and execution of budget and forecast processes and in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance management reports. Furthermore, you will:

  • have an active role in developing our future financial planning processes
  • be a contributor in developing our reporting platform to secure that the insights we deliver are timely and relevant to our stakeholders
  • participate and add value in strategic finance projects.


Are you a curious Controller with a flair for process improvement?
You hold a master’s degree within Business Administration, Economics, Finance, International Business, or the like. You have at least 3 years of experience as Controller or specialist within a FP&A department, preferably in FMCG.


Furthermore, the ideal candidate:

  • masters Danish and English at negotiation level
  • has experience with SAP and knowledge of SAP Analysis for Office at a super user level
  • is result-oriented, structured, diligent, can work independently and is a dedicated team player with strong analytical skills
  • is not afraid of challenging the status quo and is motivated by improving existing processes
  • has excellent communication skills and an ability to create and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
