Administrative Coordinator, Global IT 

Is it second nature to you to keep an overview and create structure in a busy workday? Are you motivated by a versatile role, where coordination and communication are keywords? We are looking for an outgoing process-oriented Coordinator to be part of the Global IT secretariat at our HQ in Randers.

 

You will hold a central role within Global IT and cooperate closely with colleagues both inside and outside Denmark. Global IT is responsible for developing, implementing, and operating IT across the Danish Crown Group. Within Global IT, we are more than 250 colleagues allocated in Denmark, England, Sweden, Poland, Netherlands, Germany, and China, and around 100 have their work based at the HQ in Randers. 

 

You will become part of the Global IT secretariat with a team of 4 colleagues, and at the same time, you will develop a broad network of contacts across the Group, as a total of more than 23,000 colleagues are working together to create a more sustainable future for food. We have an informal environment, building on trust and a friendly tone.

 

The job
As Coordinator in the IT Secretariat, your primary tasks will revolve around handling and developing the daily administrative procedures of the secretariat. You will quickly assume the primary responsibility for on- and offboarding activities within Global IT – also across country borders. You are an efficient administrator, who makes sure that practical tasks, processes, and events are handled professionally. It is vital that you are an out-going ‘people-person’ who takes pride in knowing your team, both socially and professionally. Also, you maintain high standards for friendly and efficient service.

 

Your tasks will i.a. include the following:

 

  • Internal organisational handling of on- and offboarding tasks and celebration of anniversaries
  • Coordinate introduction programs for new IT colleagues and make sure that administrative tasks are followed through
  • Travel advice and support for Global IT colleagues
  • Contribute to planning and executing the annual Global IT Conference
  • Update process descriptions related to the secretariat
  • Event & training coordination
  • Internal Librarian for the Global IT steering documents Library
  • Ad hoc administrative support
     

Your profile:
We expect that you come from a similar position or have at least two years of documented experience with hands-on coordination and communication in a large organisation. Also, you hold a relevant commercial educational degree minimum at bachelor level, preferably within business, culture, or communication. 

 

You are comfortable working independently, in a structured manner, and with a focus on details. It is pivotal that you take pride in executing your tasks and follow them through for a positive and satisfactory result. A smile comes easy to you, you are energetic, accommodating, proactive and you know when and who to contact to obtain the information you need to solve your tasks and projects. You are motivated by working in a small team while also having a large network in a busy workday. You are thorough and know how to prioritise your tasks. You possess a good intercultural and organisational understanding, are open to changes, and see yourself as a team player for the department as well as for our colleagues in Danish Crown Group.

 

For the right candidate, the role holds great development opportunities, which may result in larger and more cross-functional assignments and projects within Global IT, where you also will get the chance to influence the content of your role.

 

We expect you to be highly familiar with Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word and that you are open to utilise the possibilities of O365. You have a flair for IT and systems, and you can communicate fluently both orally and in writing in English and Danish. Polish will be an advantage.
