At DAT-Schaub, we are strengthening our Finance organization across South America to support business growth, operational excellence and better decision-making. We are looking for a Plant Controller Specialist to join our Paraguay operation and become a key finance partner to the plant.

About the Role

As a Plant Controller Specialist, you will support the financial performance of the Paraguay plant by providing cost analysis, reporting, forecasting and operational insights.

Working closely with Production, Supply Chain and Regional Finance teams, you will help ensure financial transparency, cost discipline and data-driven decision-making across the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly closing, reporting and financial analysis activities.
• Monitor and analyse production costs and operational performance.
• Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast and standards.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyse inventory movements and stock valuation.
• Support CAPEX monitoring and investment follow-up.
• Collaborate with Operations to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
• Ensure data accuracy within ERP and reporting systems.
• Support compliance with internal controls and Group Finance requirements.
• Participate in plant performance reviews and operational meetings.

Who Are You?

We are looking for a finance professional with strong analytical skills, curiosity about industrial operations and a willingness to learn and grow within an international business environment.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Finance Analysis or a related area.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience is considered an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• ERP knowledge (SAP is a plus).
• Intermediate to advanced English.
• Spanish fluency.
