Day Cleaner 

“Do you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy seeing something sparkle and working as part of a team? We are looking for Operator to work on our small and friendly Hygiene Team, at our new site in London NW9 0HD.

You will be hands-on supporting the cleaning of our factory areas and cleaning of our machinery and equipment to ensure we meet the standards expected in food manufacturing"  


Salary £21,000 

Hours of Work 07:00 – 17:00 Monday – Thursday 
                        07:00 – 16:00 Friday

The Job;


  • You will support the general facility operations ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained.
  • To undertake general cleaning duties including cleaning of floors, toilets, furniture and fittings, emptying bins and other receptacles and removal of rubbish
  • To maintain a clean kitchen area cleaning up after break and lunch time.
  • To undertake sweeping and washing of all floor areas to ensure that they are free from dust, dirt, litter, smears and with no evidence of stains, spillages or residual cleaning materials, refilling of antibacterial products.
  • To check that all cleaning equipment is safe to use before starting work and report any defects immediately. Ensure all cleaning equipment including machinery used is cleaned and returned to designated storerooms in a safe and tidy manner after use ready for next cleaning operation.
  • To be a hands-on Operator supporting the delivery of the Hygiene function in the factory.


What we are looking for;


  • Previous experience of working in a cleaning role is preferable.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work with a can do attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety requirements for the equipment and chemicals being used.
  • Able to work under own initiative to meet requirements of the role.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with tasks and quality standards is essential.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the factory machinery are desirable but training will be given.
  • Physical lifting and movement of equipment components
  • Will be positive, flexible and hardworking with a passionate commitment to quality
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with all tasks.
