Transition / Project Manager

 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage selected transitions, including planning, coordination and support during migration process - mainly across Europe – to support growth of the GBS
  • Manage selected projects related to technology deployments, continues improvements or other projects related to GBS growth
  • Contribute to further development of transition methodology used (governance model, risk management, planning, tracking tools, templates, reporting)
  • Provide coordination, communication across all impacted/involved stakeholders and reporting
  • Manage organizationally risk from the start through to life of transition project and each wave.
  • Interface with internal functions being HR, Finance, Operations, Centre of Excellence
  • Monitor the programme/project ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner and the appropriate corrective actions are implemented
  • Adhere to relevant escalation processes to escalate resource issues, delayed project phases, missed deadlines and other planning issues
  • Manage the project financials to provide transparency and cost status in cooperation with Finance
  • Effectively manage GBS Clients and stakeholders and support change and communication initiatives
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
  • Review the outcomes of each migration wave to determine any corrective actions that could be taken to improve future transitions in terms of timeline, quality of knowledge transfer, cost and satisfaction of internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the stabilization period quality measures and ensure projects are not closed until these have been met alongside with Delivery/Operations

 

Educational background and skills:

  • University degree preferable in Accounting, Finance or Economics as beneficial
  • MS Office high literacy
  • Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Proactive and engaged attitude, Client Facing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details, continuous improvement culture
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Flexibility to changing business targets and goals

 

Relevant experience and skills:

  • Proven experience in leading multi-country, regional transition/migration projects for at least 5 years
  • Proven experience in Managing other projects (technology deployment or other) for at least 5 years
  • Previous experience in BPO/SSC/GBS organizations
  • General Experience in Finance and Accounting domain including AR, AP, GA, Travel & Expenses

 

Nice to have:

  • Proven experience in working with service agreements (MSA, SOW, Work Order)
  • Very good understanding of SAP FI environment
  • Understanding of other processes like Procurement / Master Data will be an advantage
  • German or Danish language skills will be as asset
