Procurement Business Process Expert

 

Area of responsibility:

  • Being part of the team to drive process improvement initiatives and digitalization agenda
  • Supports S2P BPM in ownership and update of Procurement E2E model (keeping necessary documentation up to date)
  • Identification of market best practices regarding process and technology and identification of opportunities for Danish Crown
  • Ensuring Procurement E2E model awareness across organization through effective communication and trainings both on-line and classroom
  • Promoting effective utilization of Procurement systems landscape to maximize standardization and automation

 

Specific tasks:

  • Supports BU domain experts in global program implementation locally to follow the BU specified global processes and solutions
  • Supports S2P Business Process Manager in setting the process excellence agenda, in particular, by providing the best practice insights to the process and technology components within Procurement
  • Identifies market best practices regarding process and technology and identification of opportunities for Danish Crown.
  • Executes process excellence strategy
  • Ensures Procurement E2E model awareness across organization through effective communication and trainings both on-line and classroom
  • Utilizes standard process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) to identify root causes of process issues and identify areas of process improvement
  • Troubleshoots, analyses and resolves complex problems
  • Promotes effective utilization of Procurement systems landscape to maximize standardization and automation
  • Identifies areas for improvements within Procurement; prepares, executes and facilitates process improvements identification cycle within Procurement area
  • Drives implementation of new solutions supporting process
  • Supports definition and implementation of KPIs and reports in the area of procurement

 

Educational background:

  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement or related fields
  • Strong command of spoken and written English language

 

Relevant experience and skills:

  • Knowledge of the SAP system (MM module) is a must, eprocurement platforms is recommended
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • Min. 2 years of experience in BPO or SSC organization
  • Extensive professional experience in Procurement area – at least 3 years
  • Experience in Process Management (process improvement, gaining efficiency) and Project Management. Proven skills to deliver to time, cost and quality
  • Knowledge of data collection and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills, initiative and ingenuity to solve complex problems and implement remedial measures
  • Negotiation skills supporting resolution of judgmental issues
  • Experience in working collaboratively with external partners delivering mutual benefit
  • Highly independent and systematic approach to work
  • Good client facing and presentation skills
  • Ready to Travel
