Finance Systems Senior Specialist
We are looking for a new team member to join our Finance Systems Team, who will drive the ownership, operation and continuous improvement of our enterprise finance applications and related processes. The team ensures that finance systems are reliable, compliant, scalable, and aligned with business and statutory requirements, enabling accurate financial reporting, effective controls, and efficient end-to-end finance operations.
As part of this team, you will act as the bridge between Finance and IT and play a key role in the S/4HANA roll-out within the Finance track.
Area of Responsibility:

Take an active part in the S/4HANA roll-out, with strong participation in the Finance track.

Act as a system subject matter expert for finance processes, ensuring finance systems are aligned with accounting policies and business needs.

Optimize and support finance systems so that finance processes run accurately, efficiently, and in compliance.

Drive standardization and automation, reduce manual work, and improve efficiency across finance processes.

Manage change requests and enhancements, and coordinate with IT on issue resolution, testing, and implementation.

Maintain system integrity and support audits by keeping robust system-enabled financial controls in place.
Specific Tasks:
-
Support the roll-out of S/4HANA in the Finance track.

Analyse and implement change requests and prepare functional specifications for IT.

Coordinate with developers and translate business needs into system design.

Track and manage system enhancements.

Validate finance processes after system changes and resolve system issues.

Support users and troubleshoot system issues, providing user support and guidance.
-
Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and digitize finance processes, leveraging new technologies and system capabilities.

Communicate system impacts, changes, and risks clearly to finance leadership and key users.

Collaborate with finance operations, IT and technology teams, project and transformation teams, master data, reporting, and audit and compliance.
Educational Background:
-
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or Digital Transformation.

SAP certification.
Requirements:
-
Experience: Extensive experience (10+ years) in finance systems, finance operations, or transformation, including experience in complex or global environments.

Technical Skills: Expertise in SAP and strong understanding of system configuration. Experience in S/4HANA roll out.

Finance Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling, financial reporting, and knowledge of local GAAP.

Business Analysis: Ability to translate business needs into system design and a deep understanding of finance processes.

Change and Transformation: Analytical, change management, and standardization skills, with a digital mindset.

Soft Skills: Strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, strong communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally and lead by influence.

Language Skills: Fluent spoken and written English.

Working in hybrid model (50% office presence is required)
