DNK-Holsted, DNK-Randers, Danish Crown Vej

Senior Regional Logistics Manager, Production

Are you ready to take responsibility for logistics operations across Danish Crown’s production sites in Denmark? Do you thrive in a role where operational performance, production partnership and change leadership go hand in hand? Then you might be the colleague we are looking for.

What is the job about?
We are looking for a Senior Regional Logistics Manager, Production to lead logistics operations across Industry and Beef production sites in Denmark, ensuring execution is aligned with Group priorities, standards and performance goals.

You will play a key role in translating business priorities into operational results and in driving the future logistics operating model across production sites. The role covers today’s administrative logistics scope and will gradually expand towards more operational site logistics, with a clear focus on standardization, simplification, consolidation, digitalization and continuous improvement.

You will report to the Senior Director, Global Logistics and work closely with business unit leadership, site managers, production, planning, warehousing, distribution, Group Logistics and external logistics partners.

Your main responsibilities
As Senior Regional Logistics Manager, Production, you will:

  • Hold daily operational responsibility for logistics execution at site level across Industry and Beef production sites in Denmark, ensuring stable day-to-day operations, operational follow-up, rapid issue resolution, KPI performance, reporting, risk management and clear action plans.
  • Lead implementation of the future logistics operating model, including new processes, systems, governance, standardized ways of working and adherence across sites and business units.
  • Strengthening end-to-end logistics flows from supplier and production through warehousing, distribution and customer delivery, balancing service, productivity, inventory, cost and capacity utilization.
  • Ensure strong integration between production and logistics by optimizing material flow, internal logistics and handovers between production, warehouse and distribution.
  • Use data, dashboards and logistics systems to improve decision-making, identify opportunities for digitalization and automation, and drive consolidation, simplification and network optimization across sites and business units.
  • Lead and develop local site logistics functions through direct leadership, coaching, performance management and matrix leadership across sites and business units, while applying Lean and Operational Excellence methods to eliminate waste and build a continuous improvement culture.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, site management, Group Logistics and external logistics partners.

You will be the top representative for logistics in Beef, wherefore a significant share of time is expected to be allocated to Beef.

You create results through leadership and execution
You understand that strong logistics performance is created close to the operation. You combine a structured and hands-on approach with the ability to act as a production partner, challenge existing ways of working and turn agreed standards into practical execution on site.

You thrive in a matrix organization, balancing Group standards with local business needs. You create alignment across sites, functions and business units, and you know how to build accountability, engagement and results through clear leadership, governance and follow-up.

Who are we looking for?
We imagine that you have:

  • Solid experience within site logistics, production logistics, terminal logistics or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment, including both administrative logistics processes and operational logistics activities close to production sites.
  • Strong leadership experience from production, logistics or multi-site operations, including direct leadership of local logistics functions and matrix leadership across sites and business units, combined with strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business units, sites and functions.
  • A proven track record of delivering operational performance, implementing change, improving logistics processes and driving standards, operating model changes, governance and continuous improvement initiatives in a complex organization.
  • Strong end-to-end value chain understanding across procurement, planning, production, warehousing, distribution and customer delivery.
  • Experience with KPI management, dashboards, data-driven decision-making and logistics systems, preferably combined with experience in digitalization, automation, Lean, Operational Excellence or structured problem-solving methods.

As a person, you are structured, pragmatic and proactive. You take ownership, build trust and know how to turn plans into tangible results while bringing people with you through change.

The position requires regular travel between Danish Crown sites in Denmark. Fluent Danish is required, and proficiency in English is expected.
