Head of Regional Supply Chain 1 1 

 

Purpose of the job:

The Regional Supply Chain Manager is responsible for end-to-end supply chain performance in the region, covering planning, coordination of supply and demand, inventory levels, and execution flow between sites, warehouses, and markets. The role ensures that production capabilities, inventory, and customer demand are aligned through disciplined planning and execution. The Regional Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in creating stability, predictability, and transparency in the supply chain and acts as a key partner to Regional Operations and Commercial teams.

Example Short-Term Deliverables (Transformation Context – 6–12 months) Success will be defined by predictable planning and inventory discipline, not firefighting. Requires alignment with Global/HQ / Manager forums • Apply standard S&OP cadence, planning definitions, and escalation rules. • Align allocation principles and service-level targets with Regional leadership.

 • Align master data/process changes with the agreed data governance route. Owned execution (regional responsibility)

• S&OP running (even MVP-level) with clear ownership and decision points.

• Inventory drivers visible and controlled (slow movers, shortages, wrong mix addressed).

• Service reliability improved through disciplined planning and coordinated execution.

 

 Main Responsibility:

End-to-End Supply Chain Management • Own regional supply chain performance across planning, inventory, and delivery DAT-Schaub Group Human Resources

• Ensure optimal flow of products from sites to customers in line with demand and capacity

• Balance service level, inventory, and cost across the region 

Act as the regional owner of supply chain execution and coordination Planning & S&OP Execution

• Lead and execute regional planning processes, including demand and supply alignment

• Support and drive S&OP processes with reliable data, scenarios, and follow-up

• Translate commercial demand and market priorities into executable supply plans

• Ensure clear communication and alignment between sites, operations, and sales Inventory & Flow Control

• Own regional inventory levels and working capital performance

• Identify and act on risks related to shortages, excess stock, or bottlenecks

 • Drive initiatives to improve inventory turnover and supply chain efficiency

• Ensure transparency on root causes behind deviations in inventory and service levels Performance Management & Continuous Improvement

• Define and follow up on regional supply chain KPIs (service level, inventory, planning accuracy)

 • Identify improvement opportunities and drive harmonisation of ways of working

• Support implementation of group standards, tools, and best practices

• Contribute to continuous improvement across planning and logistics activities Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Regional Operations, Plant Managers, and Finance

• Act as key interface between Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain functions 

• Coordinate with Global Supply Chain and other regions where relevant

• Support regional management in decision-making related to supply chain trade-offs Key Stakeholders (position’s responsibility for communications both within and outside the organization) Internal • Regional Management Team • Head of Regional Operations

Experience and Education:

(minimum level of knowledge and skills to fulfill one’s responsibilities) DAT-Schaub Group Human Resources Education and Work Experience

 • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or similar

 • 7–10+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, or logistics roles

 • Strong experience working in manufacturing or processing environments

 • Proven experience with planning, inventory management, and execution coordination

• Experience working in multi-site and multi-country setups

• Transformation or standardisation experience is an advantage Required Competencies
