Operator - Nights 


We have new opportunities of Operators in our Process Department: 

Shift Pattern Mon to Friday Nights 22:30-06:30

£8.21 + £0.50 shift premium +£0.50 OTB = £9.21 per hour


Within this role there may be the requirement to work additional or different hours to cover the business needs at peak times, so flexibility is required.  


The site specialises in the deboning of pork legs and the onward processing of gammon products for our customers.

On average we debone 20,000 legs a day and this product can then be cured or cooked. Also, the packing of residual products and final products for our wholesale customers is done at this site.

The site has benefited from significant continued investment from Danish Crown when it transferred over to its ownership in 2015. Our customer base is wholesale and we have had strong ongoing relationships with them. 


What you will be doing;


  • Support the processing of our Pork products in preparation for the packing department.
  • Working in a chilled environment, delivering excellent quality packed products safely and efficiently to meet our customer and technical standard.
  • Support the delivery of key performance targets within your area, ensuring attention to detail and that procedures are followed.
  • Comply with the food and hygiene requirements at all times.
  • Examine the quality of product in your area and ensure it meets the standards of the customer.
  • Examine the quality of the seals and ensure that if any that do not meet the standards these are raised with the Skilled Operator or Key Operator.
  • Ensure all procedures are followed correctly.
