Factory Cleaner- Nights 

We are recruting permananet productions roles to work in our site at Bugle.  


The site supplies to customers in the UK and demand has risen due to recent events as we attempt to feed the nation at this difficult time.  

We have put in addtional measures to our already high hygiene standards and increased social distance measure on site for the protection of everyone.


We are looking for Operators to work on our small and friendly Hygiene Team. You will be hands-on supporting the cleaning of our factory areas and supporting production with ensuring dolvas, trays, and equoiment is reay, clena and availaible  to ensure we meet the standards expected in food manufacturing.   You will be working at our Bugle site where we specialise in the deboning of pork legs and onward processing of that product in to award winning gammon or the sale of smaller residuals.  


The Hygiene Department supports the factory both with the daily requirements of production, ensuring dolavs and trays are available for the departments.

The night shift carries out deep cleaning of machinery and the general Factory areas when production is at reduced capacity.

In addition to the basic rate, hygiene operators will have an operational allowance.


Rate of Pay: £10.33 per hour   (£9.52 per hour + £0.60 shift Allowance + £0.21 Operational Allowance after 2 weeks OTE £10.33 per hour) 


Shift: January to Sep:  Monday to Friday 22:00-06:00

          October to Dec  Sunday to Wed 20:00-06:00 or Wed to Sat 20:00-06:00


The Job:

  • The cleaning of the factory equipment, such as dolavs, tanks, racks.
  • The cleaning of all internal areas up to the required standards laid out in the hygiene management system.
  • Ensure all procedures are followed correctly.
  • Comply with the food and hygiene requirements at all times.
  • Support in the delivery of the key performance targets in your area of work
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with tasks and quality standards is essential.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the factory machinery are desirable but training will be given.
  • Physical lifting and movement of equipment components


Successful Candidates:


  • Will be positive, flexible and hardworking with a passionate commitment to quality
  • Able to work in vary temperatures
  • Able to carry out the physical tasks that would be reasonably required
  • Able to work within a team and independently.
  • Able to read and understand procedural instructions
  • Experience of working within a factory environment. (Desirable)
